Why start writing about it now? Basically because I just started another blog (<a href="http://adams-allegory.blogspot.com">Adam's Allegory</a>) that I still haven't found a direction for, when I realized I should start one about our house!<br /><br />Around 6 months ago we bought a beautiful, 25 year-old, model home in one of the best neighborhoods in the area... We moved in in January and have been slowly but surely repairing and replacing as we go. As with every house however, there are always more projects than there is time or energy to complete! For now, here's a list of the major items we have to complete:<br /><br /><ol><br /><li>New Floors</li><br /><li>New Windows</li><br /><li>New AC unit(s)</li><br /><li>New French Doors</li><br /><li>Remove small deck (we have 2!)</li><br /><li>Lay Patio</li><br /><li>Grade & add drainage to backyard</li><br /><li>Re-soil front yard</li><br /><li>Add Garage Door Opener</li><br /><li>Re-hang garage door</li><br /><li>Re-arrange sand in crawl space</li><br /><li>Re-lay plastic sheeting in crawl space</li><br /><li>Re-arrange crawl-space AC vent pipes</li><br /><li>Add second AC vent to TV room</li><br /><li>Network-wire entire house</li><br /><li>Replace shelving in pantry</li><br /><li>Add light to pantry</li><br /><li>Add control wire & switch to Master BR ceiling fan</li><br /><li>Install bookcases in FROG</li><br /><li>Paint (various rooms)</li><br /><li>Remove border from make-up room</li><br /><li>Build work bench in garage</li><br /></ol><br /><br />That should do for now! I'll start including pictures to show my progress wherever possible...
